Presidential Pardons only work on federal crimes, and Kodak has a state case that is pending. Prosecutors in South Carolina are ready to pursue a sexual assault case against him. The rapper was indicted in South Carolina on a felony charge of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and prosecutors still want the case until there is a trial or he cops a plea. So why now, prosecutors say Covid 19 delayed the case. Kodak is currently out after being pardoned, but the future for him is unknown.
