Cardi B: Did She Steal Her New Single, ‘Up?’
Cardi B. is once again going to social media to defend herself. This time, it is because of her new single, “Up.”
Per BET, after the song came out Friday, two New Jersey rappers named Mir Fontane and Mir Pesos alleged that Cardi copied their song, “Stuck.” Mir Fontane even posted a split video of the two tunes. Mir Pesos later posted a clip of her video and wrote, “We want my money.”

Afterward, Cardi B defended herself.
She wrote on Twitter, “This is such a popular phrase and soo many people s—- sound similar. You mean to tell me I copied like 8 songs ? STFU tired of explaining this s—-.” With the tweet, she added various clips from other songs that have used the phrase to prove her point. See the video here.
