NEW YORK, NY - APRIL 12: An exterior view of a White Castle restaurant, April 12, 2018 in the Queens borough of New York City. White Castle has introduced the meatless 'Impossible Slider' burger. The burger, which sell for $1.99, are about twice the size of White Castle's regular sliders. The patties, made primarily of wheat protein and potato, are the first plant-based burgers sold in an American quick-serve restaurant. (Photo by Drew Angerer/Getty Images)

According to the Orlando Sentinel, White Castle will open its first Florida location at 18 North Dollins Avenue in Orlando,Tuesday, Feb 23rd . The location will be near John Young Parkway and Colonial Drive downtown Orlando. This is almost two years in the making but they’re finally ready to serve up those famous square hamburger sliders. One big thing that’ll be different though… they’re calling this first location a “ghost kitchen” concept. That means no dining in the restaurant. They will deliver via Uber Eats but you need to live within a 15 minute drive of the restaurant. Sorry Tampa Bay. The other thing that might be a big negative… they’ll only be serving until 10pm. White Castle is famous for those looking for an after midnight snack after a night of partying hard. The delivery service will be available from 10am to 10pm for now. Another white Castle is set to open later on this year near Disney world. I grew up eating white castle, so Im super excited about this.
