Dre doesn't just produce and rap. He's also an established actor and has appeared in movies like Set It Off, The Wash, and Training Day.
We all know the prominent artists that Dre has worked with, including Eminem and Snoop Dogg. But he's also worked with artists like Gwen Stefani, Nine Inch Nails, The Rolling Stones, Toni Braxton, and even Burt Bacharach.
Dre has six children, and his son Andre Young Jr. died of an overdose in 2008.
Dr. Dre didn't know Eminem was white when he decided he would work with him. He was once quoted saying, "when I heard Em for the first time, I didn't even know he was White. I just knew I wanted to work with him. And that kind of actually made it better for me because it was so different."
Dre had to continuously move schools due to poor grades. He once tried to register at an aviation program but wasn't allowed because of those grades. That led to him focusing on the entertainment industry and music.
Dre is one of only two hip-hop producers who have won Producer of the Year at the Grammys. The other is the Neptunes.
