Florida Teen Charged As An Adult with Stabbing Teen Girl 114 Times
A parent’s worst nightmare…
A 14-year-old Florida resident has been charged as an adult in the death of a cheerleader he reportedly stabbed 114 times.
Durbin Crossing resident, Aiden Fucci is facing one count of premeditated first-degree murder in the death of 13-year-old Tristyn Bailey, a fellow student and cheerleader at school.
According to Fox News, State Attorney R.J. Larizza says Bailey’s murder was so brutal that the tip of the buck knife was found broken off in her scalp. He says before committing the crime, Fucci told people he “intended to kill someone.”
If he’s convicted, Fucci faces a life sentence. However, even though he’s being tried as an adult, state law makes Fucci eligible for review after 25 years because of his age.
