Plant City Man Arrested After Illegally Dumping Oil Into Wetlands And Killing Tons Of Fish
Omar Hernandez was arrested after being accused of causing thousands of dollars in damages to local wetlands! He was arrested and is now facing felony charges. The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office says Omar Hernandez illegally dumped oil that caused $10,000 in damages to wetlands out in Plant City. Sheriffs office tells us that the oil affected the wildlife, fish and vegetation in that area. The dumping had been taking place over time since April of this year. Hernandez was arrested and faces a felony charge of causing pollution that harms/injures human health/welfare.
