LIST: Pet Friendly Storm Shelters In The Tampa Bay Area
Hurricane Season officially started on June 1st and we might not have any storms in the tropics but it is never too early to start making an action plan.
Living in the Tampa Bay Area has it’s perks but one thing I dread every year is Hurricane Season. I always make sure my car and generator is always filled with gas and my house is full of the essentials but there is something I always overlook… My dogs. I know we all worry about our furry family members but when it comes to hurricanes I never thought about it, until now. Below I’ve put together a list of shelters in our area that allow pets and this could come in handy if anything were to happen. Especially since some hotels don’t take pets, even during a hurricane. P.S. Be sure to get a pet carrier/crate because you will need them if you evacuate to a storm shelter. Check out the pet friendly storm shelters:
