Tampa Area Man Hit Pedestrian And Tried Hiding The Body Behind Bait Shop
A Tampa Area man is now facing several charges after troopers say he hit and killed a pedestrian and tried hiding the body behind a bait shop. FHP says it happened around 12 am on Sunday. Joseph Charles Strickland of Weeki Wachee was driving on cortez Blvd Sunday morning and as he approached the intersection he hit and killed a pedestrian. Reports tell us he then drove the body of the pedestrian to the back of the Dixie Lee Bait shop, located at 6408 Evanston Street in Spring Hill, and dumped the remains.
