Some people are disgusting! A Florida man tossed his 2-month-old baby at police after he went on a high-speed chase through residential neighborhoods.
John Henry James III, 36, went on a 40-minute high-speed chase to try and get Indian River County sheriff’s deputies off his trail with the kid in the car.
“You can’t throw a baby at us and expect us to treat you with kid gloves,” said Sheriff Eric Flowers.
He is now facing several charges including aggravated child abuse. Thankfully, Deputy Jacob Curby caught the baby in the air! After the chase James III threw the baby “overhand” and called the situation very awkward.
“I’ve seen some crazy stuff but this is definitely up there,” Curby told CBS News 12. “It wasn’t a nice underhand handoff from a foot away, it was a throw.”
