‘You Stabbed Me:’ Ronnie Oneal’s Young Son Recalls Watching Him Murder His Mom And Sister
Jurors heard heartbreaking testimony yesterday at Ronnie Oneal’s murder trial where he is representing himself in court. Oneal is on trial for double homicide and the events in the courtroom have turned into a circus.
His 11-year-old son took the stand yesterday answering questions about the day his mom and sister were killed. “I just saw my dad holding a shotgun and my mom, like, screaming at him,” he recalled.
Oneal then cross-examined his son, and he responded by saying: “You stabbed me.”
At the time, the boy was just 8-years-old when he said Oneal stabbed him after watching him murder his mom and 9-year-old sister who was autistic and diagnosed with cerebral palsy and was non-verbal.
Investigators said, “He shot Kenyatta and beat her with a shotgun, used a hatchet to stab his daughter repeatedly, then stabbed his young son before lighting the boy and their house on fire.”
Oneal has been very emotional yelling at the jurors and courtroom including Monday when he was pacing during his opening arguments calling this case “some of the most vicious, lying, fabricating, fictitious government you ever seen.”
The boy now has a different last name after he was adopted by one of the detectives in the case.
