Car Almost Sinks After Illegally Parking Near The Courtney Campbell Causeway During High Tide
Police in Clearwater are reminding people to pay attention to signs after someone came back from a walk and found half of their car underwater. It happened Saturday morning along the Courtney Campbell Causeway. Spokesperson for the Clearwater Police department tells us that someone parked their car in a habitat restoration area, even though there were do not enter signs. When the people came back from work, their car was under water. While the person was walking, the tide came in and the high water, making it impossible to drive the car away.
