This story is just heartbreaking... Five people were injured when a pickup truck crashed through a Tampa Waffle House.
It happened at 2 p.m. at 3009 W. Columbus Dr. and a total of five people were injured including an adult, and a child who suffered serious injuries.
At the time of the accident, the Waffle House was packed with people inside and outside waiting for tables. The truck smashed through the restaurant's windows and ended up halfway through the it before coming to a complete stop.
The elderly man who crashed his truck into the breakfast spot was a regular customer and seemed confused after the accident happened.
