Biden Administration Increasing EBT Benefits To Largest Amount In History This October
The Biden administration is making some huge changes when it comes to your EBT benefits in one of the biggest moves ever! In a historic decision, the Biden administration has announced that EBT benefits will increase to the largest amount ever in October.
EBT benefits (or food stamps) will increase by more than 27% making it the largest increase in the history of the program. EBT benefits will now increase by $36 a month. Currently the monthly EBT benefit is $121 per person and now will jump to $169 per person.
They are raising the amount due to the current annual living expenses and inflation in national food prices. As of right now, more than 42 million people are registered to get these benefits compared to February 2020 only 37 million were registered at the time.
