Planes from United, American Airlines, Delta, and Hawaiian Airlines will be used to help to evacuate Americans and Afghan allies.
This aid marks the third time the United States has had to call on commercial airlines to assist the military. American Airlines and Delta are expected to begin evacuation efforts on Monday.
The Pentagon has stated that it does not expect the evacuations to have huge impacts on commercial flights.
