Wrongfully Convicted Tampa Man Freed After Being In Prison For 30 Years
A Tampa man is walking free from prison. He spent 30 years in jail after being wrongly identified in a robbery case. Reports tell us that Tony Hopps’ conviction was overturned by a judge Monday after an investigation by Hillsborough County State Attorney found major problems with how the case was handled. Whats crazy is that he was not even at the scene of the crime. There is no amount of money that could bring his life back but I hope he sues the mess out of the city or whoever is responsible for this. Hopefully he is compensated well.
