And Now There’s Pumpkin Spice Spiked Seltzer
Do we need to start with the pumpkin spice when it’s still August? And does everything need to be pumpkin spice flavored? The answers are “yes” and “yes,” apparently.
Bud Light Seltzer has just announced it’s “Seltzer Fall Flannel” variety pack. The pack includes a few fall-themed flavors: apple crisp, toasted marshmallow, maple pear and yes, pumpkin spice.
According to a press release, the package will feature a fall-inspired plaid design and will be available in 12 oz. slim can variety 12-packs nationwide starting September 6 through the end of October.
Of coruse, people had opinions and took to twitter to express them.
Two things @budlight. 1. It is currently 11pm and feels like 79 degrees with 84% humidity. 2. Pumpkin spice seltzer may only be surpassed by maple pear seltzer on my list of “not even if I was drunk and thirsty.” #TheBestBeerCompanyinaSeltzerWorld pic.twitter.com/PfD9D3Bpct

No, this @jordan327 story is not a headline in The Onion. Hopefully it will simultaneously mark the end of the boom in both hard seltzer & pumpkin spice drinks. And this isn't even the worst sounding drink being rolled out. Toasted marshmallow?!?!? https://t.co/t2y33D5koq
