Shocking news is now being reported in the disappearance of 19-year-old Miya Marcano. The main person of interest in the case was found dead on yesterday from an apparent suicide.
The man named Armando Manuel Caballero, 27, was the maintenance man at the apartment complex and repeatedly showed romantic interest in Marcano but was denied by the teenager several times.
Police spent this past weekend looking for Miya Marcano who was last seen Sept. 24 at the Arden Villas Apartments where she works in the leasing office.
Caballero had been a maintenance man at the complex since Juneand had a maintenance-issued master key fob which he used to enter Marcano's apartment 30 minutes before she was set to finish her shift.
Marcabno's father said she was scheduled to fly to her family's home later that night but never boarded the plane. Caballero was found dead at an apartment complex in Seminole County.
Orange County Sheriff John Mina said, "It appears he has killed himself," the sheriff said. "I want to reiterate, Miya is still missing. Her disappearance is suspicious, and our detectives and the family members obviously suspect foul play."
