A real-life 'Squid Game' is about to go down in South Korea and it's all thanks to the successful Netflix show. However, this “Squid Game” will be a murder-free competition but it will have a very real prize of 5 million won aka $4,215 US dollars.
Beforehand, Bridgerton was the most watched show on Netflix but now with over 111 million viewers globally the Korean drama has exploded into a real-life phenomenon.
This will be a field day-like event taking place Oct. 24 but they will have social distancing restrictions.
They plan on playing: "Tug of war, the traditional Korean paper-flipping game ttakji chigi, the tasty dalgona cookie challenge and the nightmarish Red Light, Green Light.”
