Will Ferrell Turned Down ‘Elf’ Sequel Despite $29 Million Payday
Will Ferrell says he turned down a sequel to “Elf” because the script was lame!
The comedian/actor said the sequel had a very ‘similar premise’ to the original movie and if he had to go out and promote it he’d have to be honest when questioned and he couldn’t go through with it.
Ferrell was reportedly offered $29 million for taking part in the sequel. And he still said no! By the way, “Elf” was a huge box office hit grossing $223 million worldwide.
