The name of the event was 'Guns Down, Gloves Up' but some people at the St. Pete event didn't care after a huge fight broke out leaving one person dead and four others injured Saturday night.
Police arrived to 1079 62nd Avenue South with an outdoor boxing ring set up at a back parking lot with over 200 people.
So, here's what happened... Two groups started to argue and fight when several shots were fired. Sadly, Trevon Barton, 21, died from his injuries and four other people also had gunshot injuries.
Police said so far, one person has been arrested, 21-year-old Robert Cooley. He was charged with carrying a concealed firearm and discharging a firearm in public.
