Two mother's who went through IVF treatment are now in a nightmare situation after each one gave birth to the other's biological baby after a lab mix up. They're saying that the lab mixed up their embryos so each mother was pregnant and spent months raising another couple's child.
After a DNA test was administered they found out that biologically the child they've each been raising was not theirs and instead another couples.
After having many discussions, the parents made the decision to swap babies when they were just four-months-old. After the birth and breastfeeding they each gave up what they thought was their own kid for their real biological child.
Now the couples are suing the IVF clinic named the California Center for Reproductive Health and its owner for medical malpractice, negligence and fraud.
