Big Changes Coming To Ybor City

Ybor city will be a little quieter in six months after the city council approved a new noise ordinance on Thursday. What does the new noise ordinance mean? It means, amplified sound will be limited city-wide after midnight.

Some homeowners say the noise is out of control. They can hear the DJ & music over their TVs and it's a nuisance. On the other hand, bar and night club owners say this noise ordinance will hurt their business and the night life in Ybor was in place long before some homeowners moved to the area.
