The Tampa Bay Rays organization has been flirting with the idea of splitting their season with half of their games being played here in Tampa & the other half played in Montreal.
It's been an idea that Rays fans in the Tampa area have not been fond of, & now it's official that the MLB is not fond of it either, as they shut down the franchise from going back and forth between countries.
Looks like the Rays may have to go back to explore bringing a new stadium to the Tampa area.
