Polk County Boy Told His Classmates “Don’t Come To School Tomorrow”

According to reports an eight grader at Lake Marion Creek middle school in Polk County was arrested after bringing a gun to school. The student showed it to classmates and was overheard saying I will "shoot up the school." Police in Polk County found out the middle schooler got the gun from his parents bedroom. His parents say the gun was locked inside of their bedroom, and he went and go it while they were out of town. Some witnesses say the suspect was being picked on and this is what led to him bringing the gun.

Im very happy that one of the students spoke up and said something. There are always signs but unfortunately a lot of people don't speak up. If you see or hear threats online or in person, you should always report it to the authorities.
