Lithia: Driver Dies After Hitting Gator On The Road

Sad news this morning out of Lithia… A driver was killed after after they hit a gator while driving early this morning.

The incident happened at 12:30 a.m. on Country Road 672 when a gator was in the roadway. After hitting the animal the car went off the road and rolled into a ditch.

The unidentified driver died at the scene.
