Tampa Reserve Officer Arrested On 100 Counts Of Child Porn
TPD Chief Mary O’Connor held a press conference to announce that a retired officer who was now volunteering as a reserve officer was arrested on 100 counts of child porn. Reports say he is a former sex crimes officer who worked many cases here in Tampa Bay.
According to reports, Paul Mumford had illegal pictures of kids on his cell phones back in 2021. His house was searched in December and they allegedly found dozens of images of child porn on his personal devices, also they found stories that believe he wrote that were about children in sexual situations.
He was officially terminated on February 15. More charges could be pending.
