Orlando & The Freakshow

Weekdays 6AM - 10AM

A former employee for the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay was arrested after a teen complained he was sending her “obscene content” after she called the hotline needing help.

Christopher Augusto Laracuente Cotto, 32, took her call from the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay which is designed for those who are struggling with depression, suicide or other mental health issues. She initially called to speak with an intervention specialist and ended up talking to him on the phone for more than an hour.

He then called her back an hour later from a restricted number and asked for the victim’s Instagram so he could follow her. Next he direct messaged her on IG, sent her sexual photos and videos and asked for nudes back.

The teen girl told her high school school resource deputy who notifies authorities. Also, Laracuente Cotto was a volunteer worship leader at Iglesia Adoración Y Palabra Jesucristo Es El Señor (Iglesia APJS) in Wesley Chapel.
