The Today Show tell's us that A 4 year old girl is dead after her grandmother allegedly forced her to drink whiskey while her mother watched. Sargent McKneely of Batton Rouge says the little girls grandmother, Roxanne Record and Mother Kadjah Record were arrested friday and charged with first degree murder. At 11am on Thursday police received a call about an unresponsive child. The child, 4-year-old China Record, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner’s Office tells us That an autopsy showed that the cause of death was acute alcohol poisoning. The 4-Year-Old girl had a blood-alcohol level of .680%, more than eight times the .08% driving limit for an adult. The investigation is still ongoing.
