This is no joke! You can see for yourself, the video below shows the dangerous creatures swimming near a sandbar on Florida’s Gulf Coast.
Pasco officials are telling anyone who wants to get in the water to be cautious of their surroundings. They recommend developing strong swimming skills, if you do get in the water make sure you bring a friend with you and never leave kids unattended.
They’re not exactly sure what type of sharks are in the water but previous reports note Blacktip sharks have been in the same area in the past. Blacktip sharks can grow more than 6 feet so be careful.
