Sad news about the corrections officer who helped an Alabama inmate escape. The officer has died after she shot herself in the head after Monday's high-speed chase with police.

Vicky White was driving as a US Marshals vehicle hit it, making the car overturn. As officers were apprehending the inmate Casey White from the vehicle he said, "Y'all help my wife, she shot herself in the head and I didn't do it."

Although, the couple were never married they both had the same last name. Vicky White was stuck inside the car with a gunshot wound to the head and died hours later at the hospital.

Vicky White sold her large property for $95,000 and cashed out all of her savings before helping the inmate escape. With the cash she bought firearms, clothing, and purchase a getaway car.
