What a nightmare situation! A child had to be hospitalized after they were stabbed in the chest by a catfish barb.
Pasco County Fire Rescue said a barb from the catfish stabbed the child from 1″ to 1.5″ into the child’s chest cavity.
The child began having trouble breathing so the mother rushed them to the hospital.
There have been no further details released.
Sunsets at Clearwater Beach Pier 60 are a nightly tradition.
