Orlando’s ICON Park has a new game and some people aren’t too happy about it. It’s called Bullseye Blast and you play it while riding in The Wheel Ride, the park’s 400-foot tall Ferris wheel.
As the Ferris wheel takes off, players scan the rooftops of the park to find 50 targets, ranging from easy to hard. Each player has a laser blasters with a scope, trying to get as many points as possible before the 18-minute ride is over.
Many people online called out the new attraction, calling it “insensitive” given the recent mass shootings and the terror attack at Pulse nightclub in Orlando in 2016. Another commenter called it “Mass shooter training.” But there were people that weren’t offended by the new game saying, “This concept is no different than Buzz Light Year’s Space Ranger Spin at Disney’s Magic Kingdom or Men In Black at Universal Studios.”
Sounds like another type of laser tag to me, but we also do a segment called Black, White Or Other during the Nuthouse so I don’t get offended much – Stiffy
