This breaks our heart! A 16-year-old girl killed her 3-year-old sister after putting a pillow over her head to “quiet her down” while their mom worked in another room.
They were in an extended stay hotel at the time when the mom told her teen daughter to “keep her sister quiet since she was on the phone for work.”
The 16-year-old girl then “placed a pillow over her sister to quiet her down.”
10 minutes later her sister was found unresponsive and was ultimately pronounced dead at the hospital. The 16-year-old was arrested for manslaughter.
Officer Michelle Montalvo of Altamonte Springs Police said, “It’s very tragic it’s a 3-year-old, a very young, young child. A mother loses both daughters in one night because the 16-year-old was arrested that night.”
