St. Pete Police: Woman Tries To Beat DUI Test By Irish Folk Dancing And Fails

Pinellas County police had an interesting evening after pulling over a woman who they thought could possibly be driving drunk. After she was involved in a car accident she tried to prove that she wasn’t drunk so she performed an Irish folk dance for cops.

Amy Harrington, 38, of Madeira Beach, got into a car accident about a mile away from her home and when officers arrived they noticed her eyes were bloodshot and watery.

Harrington couldn’t walk in a straight line during her sobriety test so she gave up and started dancing instead.

In the video you hear the cop saying, “Do you want to pay attention so I can give you the instructions?”

She responded, “Yeah, well, you sound like my ballet coach, so, sounds about right.” Then she started to dance.

The cop then replied with, “That wasn’t good.”
