A woman on an American Airlines flight from Dallas to L.A., was sentence to jail for four months. According to federal prosecutors, Kelly Pichardo and another passenger, Leeza Rodriguez were engaged in intimidating behavior on the flight, which caused the flight to be diverted to Phoenix.
The women assaulted a passenger, used racial slurs when a male passenger stepped in asking them to stop and is accused of spitting at the man when he tried to record everything going down authorities said. The FBI was even involved in the investigation, along side the Phoenix police. Both Women were indicted for disorderly conduct for verbally and physically assaulting other passengers and flight crew members. Pichardo, was sentenced to four months in jail and has to pay over $9K restitution to the airline. The other passenger will be sentenced in November. [Source: Baller Alert]
