Rita Ora Clears The Air – I Am Not Becky
Recently Rita Ora sat down with Louis Theroux to discuss what she’s been up to amongst other things. One of the things that came up during the interview was “If she was Becky with the good hair”. On Beyonce’s 2016 album “Lemonade”, Beyonce says at the end “You better call Becky with the good hair”. Shortly after Beyonce’s album dropped, Rita Ora posted a picture of her wearing a bikini top with lemons on it. Leading the world to believe that she was in fact Becky.
Beyonce’s Lemonade album was focused on everything that had been going on in her life and all the different levels and phases of her marriage. She was telling her story through the music and the visuals. Beyonce is usually a very private person, but through this album, we found out that Jay-Z had been cheating on her! There were many subliminal messages throughout the whole album, including a woman she called “Becky”!
Jay-Z had signed Rita Ora, so the two had been on the road together while he was helping to start her career.
Rita denies these claims and states that her posting a picture of herself with a lemon bikini, was just a random coincidence.
