City of Clearwater
This week the name was revealed for the new concert venue opening this summer at Coachman Park in Clearwater. "The Sound" is near completion and a few acts have already been announced to be the first to take the stage.

City of Clearwater
Covered Seating
The biggest thing that those who've been to Coachman Park for concerts in the past will notice is that 4,000 of the seats will be under a roof like the Amphitheatre set up. There will be about 5,000 on the lawn as well.
The first concert...
You won't have to wait long. The first show is set for July 7 with pop punk acts Taking Back Sunday and The Maine. 90s Q105 favorites the Goo Goo Dolls will play the new venue July 24.
It won't be a seasonal venue.
The Sound at Coachman Park will have a year-round performance schedule.
The seating chart.
The set up will be quite similar to the Amphitheatre. The 100 level sections (101-105) will be the ones closest to the stage. 5 more sections behind it will be sections 201-205.
It wasn't cheap!
The project cost... $84 million. Check out the time lapse of its construction above!

Jacksonville wasn't far behind them, they were tied with Lubbock and Irving, Texas and Chesapeake, Virginia for the number 8 spot. Toledo, Ohio was ranked number 1 in America for the cheapest beer. To nobody's surprise, New York and Los Angeles are the two cities with the most expensive prices. You can expect to pay around $8 for a beer in those big cities.
