Florida has plenty of spots to get your milkshake on, and unlike in other areas of the country, it's always milkshake season in the Sunshine State. I mean, who doesn't love a good Florida milkshake? One publication set out on the delicious journey to find the best one in the state.

LoveFood.com recently put together a study to determine the best place to get a milkshake in each state. "Milkshakes are about as American as apple pie, and every state has their own mouth-watering options," they state in the article. I couldn't agree more. "Read on for our pick of the best of them, from towering freak shakes heavy with toppings to deliciously understated chocolate and vanilla options." What's extra cool is that they also suggest what kind of milkshake to try at each of these establishments. I think mint is my favorite flavor for a milkshake, but chocolate-chip is a close second.

So, which ice cream shop in Florida has the best milkshakes in the entire state? According to the study, it's the flavor "Tres Leches Milkshake" at Bocas House in Doral. "Bocas House, on the outskirts of Miami, serves Latin American-inspired dishes from ceviche to steak, but it's the head-turning milkshakes that really steal the show," LoveFood.com states. "Its photo-worthy creations are heavy on the toppings – think cookies, rainbow sprinkles, salted caramel, and more. The fan favorite is the Tres Leches Milkshake (pictured second from the left): vanilla ice-cream is blitzed and topped with marquesa cake, plus a wafer cone filled with yet more ice cream." If you know of someone who loves milkshakes, this seems like the perfect spot. I would probably try the suggested "Tres Leches Milkshake" flavor, although all of their flavors looks unique. The fastest-growing sport in America has made its mark on Southwest Florida. There are now a few exciting new places to play Pickleball in the Tampa region. Perhaps you have noticed your local athletic center turning part of their basketball gym into a Pickleball court. Even Lebron James is onboard, buying into a major league team in late 2022.

Though the sport has been around since 1965, it’s more recently gained major popularity here in Tampa. There are local Facebook groups that share ideas and enthusiasm for the sport. There is also a community named, The Tampa Pickleball Crew that describes themselves as, "a socializing, community, and friendly competition come together through pickleball." This crew is also pioneering an effort to open a new indoor facility in Ybor City this spring. Whether you are looking to learn the game, play competitively or swing a paddle while sipping a beer, Massachusetts now has options to meet your Pickleball curiosity.
