But no, sorry it's NOT In-N-Out. Although Florida fast food lovers have been hoping that In-N-Out will add restaurants in the southeast, we're not there yet. In-N-Out IS getting closer to us though. But a different west coast burger chain is about to debut here. Ever been to a Carl's Jr.?

By late 2023, we'll get our first taste of their charbroiled burgers, fried chicken sandwiches and waffle fries here in the Sunshine State. But unfortunately if you're a Tampa area Carl's Jr. fan, you're going to have to fill up the gas tank. The first location is opening in Doral, Florida which is near Miami.

Construction on this new Doral location is scheduled to begin soon and will open by the end of the year. The company plans to open 35 Carls Jr. locations in South Florida eventually, according to their press release. No word though if the Tampa area is part of their master plan. [Source: PR Newswire]
