Mystery: Florida Man And 2 Others Found Dead Inside Car Parked At Gas Station
Reports tell us that a Florida man and 2 others were found dead inside car parked at a North Carolina gas station. All 3 men were marines and one of them was from Naples. I lived near Naples for a long time and have friends who knew him. Rest in peace to Ivan Garcia of Naples, Merax Dockery of Oklahoma and Tanner Kaltenber of Wisconsin.
According to the Pender County Sheriff’s department, the men were found dead around 9 a.m. inside “a vehicle located at the Speedway convenience store in Hampstead, North Carolina.” The cops found the body after a report of a missing person was filed.
As of now their cause of death is unknown. The police are awaiting the results of an autopsy because the cause of death might be something they don’t see. The police also tell us that there were no drugs in the vehicle and that they don’t suspect foul play. The autopsy results are expected to be released by this evening.
General Micheal McWilliams who is the commanding general of the 2nd marine logistics group released a statement saying, “My deepest sympathy and condolences are extended to the family, friends, and colleagues of Lance Cpl. Kaltenberg, Lance Cpl. Dockery and Lance Cpl. Garcia, Our focus is providing the necessary resources and support to those impacted by their tragic loss as they navigate this extremely difficult time.”
The investigation is still ongoing and when I hear more I will update you. This is very sad especially since the men were so young. one 19 year old and 2 23 year olds. Many people are thinking that the men may have committed suicide but the crime scene did not allude to that. Also there appears to be no threat to anyone living in the nearby community.
