I have a niece that lives in Orlando and we do everything to try and keep her safe. I hate hearing about crimes against children, and I also hate hearing about police being murdered. 98 pedophiles have been arrested in Australia and the United States in connection with a global online child abuse network! This comes after the murder of two FBI agents in Florida.

Agents Daniel Alfin and Laura Schwartzenberger were killed in 2021 while serving a warrant in Sunrise.  They were searching an apartment of a suspect allegedly tied to a case involving violent crimes against children.

The deaths of two FBI agents led to a wider investigation of an illicit online platform. The members of this platform were all accused of sharing child abuse material on the dark web, according to the Australian Federal Police.

19 Australians were arrested and charged for their alleged involvement in the digital network. Police say members are believed to have  searched produced and distributed images and videos of child abuse material on the dark web.

Operation Bakis

Thanks to operation Bakis, 13 children were also saved. Some of the children were rescued from being abused and others were removed as a precaution.  In this same investigation 79 people were arrested in the United States.

Most of the suspects who were arrested in Australia worked jobs in field of communications technology.  Many of the suspects allegedly  "used software to anonymously share files, chat on message boards and access websites within the network." The suspects are accused of using methods like encryption to remain anonymous online and avoid being identified by law enforcement.

Thats to law enforcement for getting these scumbags off the streets. The internet is becoming a sick place especially with people sharing sexual explicit content of children. Please be safe and protect our babies.

Which Florida City Made The List With Highest Murder Rates In U.S.

There's lots to love about the Sunshine State, but we're also notorious for the craziest crimes. One Florida city even ranked in the top 15 for highest murder rates in America. It's not really a list we love to see Florida on, but we can't say we're not surprised with all the insane stuff that happens here.

Our friends at neighboorhoodscout.com ranked the top 30 cities in the country with the highest murder rates per 1,000 residents. They condensed their research by including cities with 25,000 or more people. They collected their data by the number of murders reported to the FBI to have occurred in each city, and the population of each city. The city population data comes straight from the US Bureau of the Census at the time of each analysis. For instance, the 2022 list population uses 2020 population figures. The 2021 list uses 2019 figures, and so forth.

There were 14 new cities making the list this year. "The newcomer on this list with the highest murder rate is Saginaw, MI. The number of murders in Saginaw more than doubled from the previous year." Thankfully (and surprisingly) only one Florida city was ranked in the research.

Here's the top 15 cities with the highest murder rate. Click here to see the full list.
