This celebrity just purchased two homes in Florida! Can you guess who? I wish the homes were in St. Petersburg but sadly they are not. I say sadly because I live in St. Pete! The homes he purchased are on Rattlesnake Island! Rattlesnake Island is south of St. Augustine Beach.
Can you guess who the celebrity is? Ill give you a hint," ice, ice Baby!" That's right congratulations to Vanilla Ice whose real name is Rob Van Winkle. Vanilla ice is going to keep one of the homes and renovate the other.
(Photo by Ian Gavan/Getty Images)Vanilla Ice is no stranger to flipping homes either. From 2010-2019 he would flip homes on is HGTV show titled " The Vanilla Ice Project." On his Tv show he would take lakefront homes in South Florida and flip them.
He has much experience in the South Florida market but his recent purchases are in North Florida. It's still not clear if this is for a new tv show or if he is literally just trying settle down in Florida. I know his neighbors will be excited once they see that it's him moving in. Could you imagine being his neighbor?
Have You Ever Lived Next Door To A Celebrity?
I have never been rich enough to say I have yet. I did have a high school teacher who said parents lived next door to Kid Rock in Michigan. Also my Great Aunt lived near Diana Ross before she got famous. Diana and my Aunt lived in the same Detroit Projects.
If you have lived next door to a celebrity? Feel free to email me, I want to hear your story. Babs@wild941.com is my email address. Hopefully you didn't do anything creepy, to the point where that celeb had to move. I will keep you updated on if Ice is starting a new Tv show or just moving here.
