The Top 3 Tampa Spots To Celebrate National Cheeseburger Day

I bet most of you didn’t know that today (September 18) was National Cheeseburger Day! Many claim to be the originators of America’s Favorite sandwich, but according to USA Today the cheeseburger was first cooked up nearly a century ago in Pasadena, California by a 16-year-old short-order cook in a roadside hamburger stand. Now if that doesn’t give you the urge to get yourself one today, then my list of favorite burger spots in Tampa will.

COVID-19 Vaccine Burger

It may not be your favorite burger, but it was voted Tampa’s #1 Burger by Tampa Magazine. The COVID-19 Vaccine Burger includes Angus beef patty, caramelized bacon, crispy onion rings, fresh cheddar, lettuce and tomato inside a brioche bun. If that isn’t enough, then the syringe on top filled with TNT Burger’s homemade smoked sauce will certainly make you a fan.

Graze

Graze in Armature Works

It doesn’t matter if you go to their Dale Mabry or Armature Works locations, just make sure you try the Graze Burger. The concoction of caramelized onions, maple-pepper bacon, white cheddar and BBQ aioli will have you coming back for more. If you want a little life hack for more flavor, get a side of sweet potato fries and at it to the burger for maximum flavor.

Thee Burger Spot

You can’t be called “Thee Burger Spot” and not have one of the best burgers in town. Voted in 2022 as Goggle’s Top Rated Burger Joint, Thee Burger Spot claims you can go in with greedy expectations and leave with a stomach full of elation. Choose between their 13 famous burgers or their 2 anti-burgers on their menu. Either way, you will not be disappointed.

Those are my top 3 spots to get a burger today, but there are a bunch of others spots with deals you can’t ignore. If you’re a fan of Applebee’s, they are offering their Classic Cheeseburger, Classic Burger and Classic Bacon Cheeseburger for $9. Wendy’s is also offering a 1 cent Jr. bacon cheeseburger with any purchase till September 22nd. If you have a Royal Perks account with Burger King, you can enjoy FREE burger with any purchase of $1 or more. We can’t forget about McDonald’s either, celebrating by offering double cheeseburgers for 50 cents if you order through the McDonald’s App. Check out USA Today‘s article for more deals.

These Are The Best Burger Restaurants In Florida

I love a good burger! In my opinion the best burgers are cooked medium well with onion and mustard only. Weird huh? Good thing this article isn’t about how we like our burgers, but the best place to get them. Florida Homes and living came out with a list of the best burger places in Florida. I currently live in the Tampa area and some of the spots I have been to made the list.

I also use to live near Naples and a restaurant that I have been to is on this list as well. The full list has 23 Burger restaurants on there, but below are the ones I have been to and they are excellent. Is there a spot that you think should be on this list?   • Thee Burger Spot

    Thee Burger spot is located in Tampa Bay and it is delicious. I was first told about this place by one of my co-worker’s. The first day I heard about it, I went and tried it out. Thee Burger spot did not disappoint. The burgers are nice and juicy. They have a variety of options as well. You can try the pizza burger or one between two glazed donuts.

     

  • Brooks Burgers

    Brooks Burgers is located in Naples and this place is everything. My friends and I would often go there and eat before a night of drinking at the Mercato. In my opinion they serve the best burgers in South West Florida. Some days I would crave it and drive all the way from Cape Coral just to get my fix. Looking for unique toppings? Brooks has it with caramelized onions, goat cheese and even potato sticks.  They also have excellent milkshakes!

     

  • Boulevard Burgers

    Boulevard Burgers is located on St. Pete beach. Not only do they have excellent burgers, but they also have a great trivia night. Even though I only like my burger with onions and mustard, I tried something new at this restaurant. Their gourmet burger with an egg and bacon is excellent!

     

  • Willy's Burgers And Brews

    Willy’s Burgers and Brews is located on St. Pete beach! My favorite thing about this restaurant is that the offer large portions. Also while eating you will enjoy a nice view. It’s literally right on the beach. My boyfriends favorite burger from there is the Wicked Willy! If you’re a spicy lover, I definitely recommend.
