Florida Woman Has Been Missing Since June And Her Family Is Devastated
“Florida woman has been missing since June and her family is devastated.” Have you heard about the missing woman Tonya Whipp? She is the Auburndale woman who has been missing since late may. Auburndale is about an hour from where I live in St. Petersburg.
Tonya Whipp has been missing since late May
Tonya Whipps family members are devastated and they have been looking for her ever since. Auburndale police have actually obtained a search warrant for Whipps boyfriend’s home.
Police still have no idea what happened to Whipp. They are not sure if she’s been harmed or if she could end up walking through the front door tomorrow.
What’s strange is that Whipp had been missing since late may but her boyfriend Russel Carrol didn’t report her missing until June 29th. He said he waited to report her missing because she had disappeared and just showed back up before.
Her family tell’s us a different story however. They say that it is not like Whipp to act this way.
Police Search Tonya Whipp’s Boyfriends Home
Police searched the home Russel Carrol lived in with his brother and took their electronic devices. They also apparently searched their backyards.
Carroll released a statement saying, “I just got out of prison, and now you go missing so what am I to do? Everybody’s looking at me like I did something to you. People think I hurt her or this or that. It’s none of that. She just disappeared.”
Police say Carroll is not a suspect at this time.
Thoughts?
In my personal opinion, it’s suspicious that Tonya’s boyfriend waited so long to report her missing. I mean he did not even notify her family members. I hope he doesn’t have anything to do with her missing but in the words of my Grandmother “Something ain’t clean in the buttermilk.”
Hopefully Tonya Whipp will be found safe. I will keep you guys updated.
