Florida Man Allegedly Held Transgender Woman For Ransom After Sex Act
A Florida man was arrested for allegedly holding a transgender woman for ransom in a Miami motel room after completing a sex act. Apparently, he had no idea the woman was transgender but figured it out after he finished. He held her at gunpoint after being upset and the news and held her for ransom.

According to YahooNews, Joshua Debarge Lucas, 34, was arrested on January 14 at the Saturn Motel in Miami’s MiMo district. Lucas was extremely upset after he completed a sex act and learned that the victim was transgender. That’s when Lucas called his friend and both of them held the victim at gunpoint. They then forced her to send a text message to a friend and when they video called back that’s when Lucas demanded money. He told the victims friend that he needed $200 immediately or they would hurt the victim. On the call Lucas explained the situation and said he felt “disrespected” after having a sexual encounter with a trans woman. He went on to say doing this violates his beliefs as a Black Hebrew Israelite.
Lucas claimed to be high during their sexual encounter and after he sobered up he became angry. During the video call Lucas’s friend was reportedly seen flashing a gun to help persuade in the call demanding a ransom. The victim’s friend recorded the call and instantly sent it to the police. Cops quickly responded to the motel but could not locate Lucas or his friend. However, they did rescue the victim and eventually Lucas was found and arrested without incident at his home. Lucas explained that the entire event was a big misunderstanding and said he only demanded $20 for an Uber. He instead blamed the victim’s friend saying they must have misheard his request.
