Meet The Filipino Phenom Who Just Signed To Eminem
Eminem has signed a handful of artists, who have all had their fair share of success. D-12, Obie Trice, Stat Quo, & you can’t forget, 50 Cent. You can say that Slim Shady has a pretty solid track record when it comes to finding new talent.
Fast forward to the present day, Slim Shady is still active in the rap game, and recently just teased a new album with Dr. Dre in the works. Shady is also looking for the next lyrical rap phenom, and it looks like he found him. In an unlikely spot at that, the Philippines.
I had the opportunity to chat with Eminem’s latest signee, who goes by the name EZ Mil. Short for Ezekiel Miller, Mil is a Filipino-born and raised artist, who is a real down-to-earth dude, who’s just living in the moment. We got our first listen of EZ Mil back in 2023 when Eminem and him collaborated on the song “Realest.”
Who Is EZ Mil?
Since then, EZ Mil recently released his new single, “Up Down (Remix)” with A Boogie wit da Hoodie. Where Mil showcases balances his aggressive delivery over a dope club bop of a beat. A solid effort as he works his way up the ranks to make a name for himself in Hip-Hop.
In our interview, EZ Mil and I spoke about the recent viral photo of him in the studio with Dr. Dre, Eminem, Mr. Porter & Alchemist. Mil says he’s still processing that moment and wishes he can relive it over and over.
Mil also speaks on his musical background, the Filipino rap scene, & the big question, when are Eminem & Dr. Dre dropping their album? And more importantly, is he on it? Peep the interview below.

Eminem’s Personal Life
Ever since Eminem has been in the spotlight, when people weren’t talking about his music, the struggles in his personal life were the center of attention. While he was trying to get his rap career off the ground, he worked at a diner while he tried to support his then-girlfriend and later-wife Kim Scott and daughter Hailie Jade. However, it was until his debut EP in 1997 Slim Shady EP that the rapper took on this alter ego which showed a side into his drug use. Many of the lyrics in several of the songs on the debut EP for the rapper talked about his addiction as he rose to fame.
“My addiction didn’t start in my early days when I was coming up. We used to drink 40s on the porch and just battle rap each other. My drug usage started at the beginning of that first album,” he explained to Billboard last year.
While he battled his addiction amid his success in music, along the way he’s stirred the pot and has gotten himself into many rap beefs with various artists. From Mariah Carey to Ja Rule check out eight of his infamous rap beefs ranked:
