5 Things To Know Before You Go To Tampa’s Breakaway Festival
One of the best parts about living in Tampa is the fact that there always seems to be something new to do. New places to visit, new events to enjoy, or new things to try. This weekend, Tampa has a new Festival coming to town where you can do all 3. So I made a list of the 5 things you need to know before you go to Tampa’s Breakaway Festival.
What is Breakaway Festival?
Breakaway is a live music festival that brings world-class DJs and electronic dance music to underutilized markets. The festival may be new to Tampa, but it actually debuted in Columbus, Ohio back in 2016. What was once one festival, has turned into a circuit of 11 festivals across the country with over 100,000 guests attending last year. Breakaway festival also comes at the perfect time with Sunset Music Festival recently announcing it would not be returning to Raymond James Stadium this Memorial Day Weekend. So tag out SMF, and tag in Breakaway!
How To Get Tickets
Tickets are still available for purchase on the Breakaway website, and if you use the code word “Richie Rich” you will receive a discount. You can choose from a single-day pass costing you $65 to a for 2-Day Ultra VIP ticket that costs $1,049. May seem pricey, but that ticket gives access to a viewing platform on the side of the main stage, drink and merch vouchers, and access to an exclusive guest lounge.
