Ty’s anticipated release date announcement follows Ye’s “confirmation” on Justin Laboy’s The Download podcast that the album will be released on May 3 after the second installment was delayed from its original date of March 8. As we know now, the album did not come to fruition, and many fans were disappointed when it did not drop.
What Do We Know About Vultures 2?
There is not much publicly known about Vultures 2, but there has been a report of a feature that is said to be on the album. The late Takeoff might have a guest appearance on Kanye and Ty Dolla $ign’s upcoming album Vultures 2. Rolling Stone confirmed that the late Migos member will be featured on the song “Let Me Chill Out” alongside Rich The Kid and NBA YoungBoy.
Takeoff was killed in 2022. His appearance on “Let Me Chill Out” will mark his fourth posthumous appearance. He was first featured on “Feel The Fiyaaaah” alongside A$AP Rocky on Metro Boomin’s December 2022 album Heroes & Villains. His uncle and bandmate Quavo dedicated his 2023 album Rocket Power to Takeoff and had verses on “Patty Cake” and “Back Where It Begins,” as well as snippets of his vocals sprinkled throughout the project.
Kanye’s Latest Music Release
Kanye inserted himself in the beef between Kendrick Lamar and Drake when he dropped a “Like That” remix. On Ye’s remix, he begins by referencing the feud between Drake and Kendrick.
“You know we had to get the hooligans up here to get these p—-n——out/ Yo Dot, I got you,” Ye raps.
Ye then calls out Cole and Drake by name. “Y’all so out of sight, out of mind/ I can’t even think of a Drake line/ Play J. Cole, get the p—- dry/ Play this s— back 130 times.”
Many fans didn’t quite understand why Kanye decided to insert himself but would rather just hear him on Vultures 2, as he promised.
