These Air Jordan’s Are A Must Have This Summer
This Spring’s sneaker releases have not disappointed one bit. A lot of solid heat has dropped as of recently. One of the hottest shoes to release was the Air Jordan 4 “Military Blue” colorway. A classic colorway and a classic silhouette.
The original Air Jordan 4 “Military Blue” colorway has been a retro’d a few times. The original was released in 1989, then it was brought back in 2006 and 2012. The 2000’s releases had a Jordan jump man logo on the heel, whereas the 1989 original iteration featured the classic Nike Air on the heel.
The recent retro stays true to the OG release, with the Nike Air logo on the back heel but, has some slight change to it. Most sneaker heads refer to this release as not the “Military Blue,” but as more of an “Industrial Blue,” because the blue is a shade darker than the original. I personally like this version over the original.
This Jordan 4 features an off-white leather base with blue all around the shoes midsole, heel, and tongue. Most of this sneaker’s inspiration, comes from the Air Jordan “Military Black” colorway that was released back in 2022.
The Jordan 4 “Military/Industrial Blue” dropped first on Nike’s SNKRS app as a “shock drop” back on April 11th and released nationwide on May 4th. Pairs are still available, in select sizes on the SNKRS app. The resell value for these 4’s is right around where it retails, which is $215. You might pay a couple dollars over that depending on where you’re shopping around.
Personally, it’s a dope Jordan to add to the collection, and I feel like this year, is the year of the Jordan 4. I was never a fan of this colorway, until this recent release. I’m a huge fan of retro Jordan’s, like the 4’s, that show off the classic Nike Air logo. Check out my unboxing video below & let me know in the comments what you think of this sneaker release.
