Bucs Release 2024-25 Schedule
The NFL season is inching closer and closer. Wednesday night (May15th) at 8 p.m. The Buccaneers unveiled their schedule for the upcoming 2024-25 season, and we can’t be more excited. The Bucs finished last season with a 9-8 record and overcame all the doubt that the team would be in for a down year after losing Tom Brady.
The team saw great performances from their QB1 Baker Mayfield, stellar wide receivers Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, and of course the guts and grit from their defense. Making it into the divisional round of the playoffs was a great look as well for the Bucs, who came up a tad bit short in that game, losing to the Detroit Lions 31-23. Even though it was a tough loss in a hostile environment in Detroit’s Ford Field, the season was a success none the less. The team’s performance was beyond expectations and that resonated with the fans while also giving hope for the future of the franchise.
Look ahead into next season the Buccaneers reloaded for next season by signing Baker Mayfield, Mike Evans and Antoine Winfield Jr. to some big contracts and locking them in as our guys to lead back to the promised land hoisting the Lombardi Trophy for a third time in franchise history.
With the schedule out now, we noticed the Bucs open up week 1 against the Washington Commanders and their quarterback of the future, Jayden Daniels. A rematch against the Lions, whom they lost to in the playoffs last year, is set for Sept. 15 in Ford Field yet again. On Nov. 4th they visit the reigning Super Bowl champs, the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football and host the runner-up from that game in the San Fransico 49ers at Raymond James the week after on Nov. 10th.
Those were some key games to look out for. Peep the full schedule below and get ready to fire the cannons this upcoming season!
